New Jersey 101.5 Shore Report

It should be partly sunny at the shore Friday with a a fresh northwest breeze, maybe as much as 10 to15 knots on average. And although a late shower can't be ruled out, more than likely Friday will generally be rain-free.

Saturday should feature a partly to mostly sunny sky with a northwest wind again to start 12 to 18 knots. It may weaken and turn into a southerly sea-breeze Saturday afternoon. NO shower activity is currently expected Saturday.

Sunday should also feature a good deal of sunshine with a northwest to west breeze early and the likelihood of a late morning or afternoon sea breeze at the beaches. If this all works out, it should be a pretty decent holiday weekend. Tides this long weekend will begin high around 11am...and be in the neighborhood of early afternoon Saturday and Sunday. Low tides this weekend will start out am 11am Friday and be around 1pm or so by Sunday.The "UV" index will obviosuly be high this weekend. And if you think you're going to try and make up for lost time and neglect to put on any sunscreen protection, remember you begin to burn after 30 minutes. Ocean water temps are around 70 or 71 far south Jersey and mostly in the 60s elsewhere.
